Pyramid Ordinance is adopted by the Massachusetts legislature.

Also known as the Setback Ordinance, the law allows Boston and other municipalities to approve construction of buildings that exceed the 155 feet if floors above that height are set back one foot for every 2 1/2 feet of additional height. Its purpose is promote high-rise construction as wells as more light and space in downtown areas.
